Refund policy
Short version: we do not give refunds, especially not for loaded credits.
All purchases are final
Credit purchases on DataFacilitator are non-refundable — you can't request cash back, store credit, or any other reversal for a purchase itself. This includes partially used balances and credits that haven't been spent at all.
Loaded credits don't come back
This applies in full to unused credits specifically. For example: if you load €1,000 and only use €500 of it, the remaining €500 is not refundable — not as cash, not as store credit, not in any other form. Once credits are purchased they stay on your account to spend whenever you like, but they can't be converted back.
The one automatic exception
If a result doesn't come with at least a phone number, email, or website — even if it has a business name and nothing else — the credits charged for it are refunded to your balance automatically. This isn't something you request; it happens on its own as part of every search, since a bare name alone was never a usable lead to begin with. It's the only case credits are ever returned.
AI filtering is a service, not a refund
If you turn on AI filtering for a search (+1 credit per business found), our AI checks every result against your search and keeps mismatches — like a police station showing up in a plumber search — out of your filtered download. Those mismatched results are not refunded: they were still found, collected, and enriched like any other result, and they remain available to you in the raw file. What you're paying for is the cleanup itself, so the surcharge applies to every collected business whether it turns out to match or not.
Why we do it this way
Treating every purchase as final keeps pricing simple and avoids disputes over how many credits were “really” used or worth reversing. It's also part of how we can offer volume discounts (see Pricing) without needing to claw anything back later.
Start small, scale up once you're sure
Because purchases are final, the smart move is to start with a small amount, run a real search, and judge the data for yourself. Once you're confident it fits what you need, move up to larger purchases — the volume discounts mean you lose nothing by waiting until you're convinced.
